I have completed my Ph.D. in 2017 on Online Seismic Assessment of Reinforced Concrete Buildings, and working in software development as well as civil engineering applications for 7 years. I love to combine these two domains to produce apps that enables handling engineering problems efficiently.

Even though I have developed several mobile apps back in the day, up to now my main focus of development was Windows and web platforms by WPF and ASP.NET MVC, but I am expanding my horizons to be fluent on the cross-platform tools as well.

I am currenly working in Yapıdestek Engineering R&D Ltd. Co. as the vice manager, software developer and structural engineer. The main focus of our company is structural health monitoring systems (including sensor design and system implementation), earthquake structural and risk assessment, and development of technical software for mobile and PC platforms.

I am also involved in Turkish Association of Bridge and Structural Engineering ( TKIC) as an administrative board member.

I worked in the project "Improving the Design and Construction Practice in Turkish Bridge Engineering" as a researcher, covering software development needs of both administrative and academic areas. I designed and implemented the web-based document management system of the project as well as an earthquake design spectrum generation software and a helper utility for determining the most suitable bridge type alternatives to a given valley.

I have worked in the project "Developing an Inspection Framework and Software for Inspection of Railroad Bridges" as the head researcher. By studying the world practice, I have worked on establishing a framework suitable for Turkey for the inspection of railroad bridges. In addition, a pc software for field inspections and automated reporting is developed within the project. After a series of educational seminars given to inspectors, Turkish State Railways still use the inspection software throughout Turkey.
